The dudes evenly worship the sludgy riffage of Ginn and the Sub Plopped 90's headshaker sound with equal aplomb and pretty gnarly results.
(200LBU)
...One of the scuzziest and filthiest sounding records I've heard this year.
(Built On A Weak Spot)
A throw back to the glory days when armies of drugged up scum bags were dropping endless hours of slugdey punk and dirgey noise.
(WWDIS)
the singer sounds like steppenwolf.
(a co-worker)
...this sounds like a bleary, tangled bundle of nerves, borne by the force of weird, late period noise rock (think Skin Graft and Trance Syndicate bands) and carried through with the loose force of Flag and the nagging feeling you get from listening to the Circle Jerks or "Institutionalized."
(Dusted)
Snake Apartment / Work/Death Split 12"
Corleone Records (September 2006)- Snake Apartment: Fourth Blood
- Work/Death: The Fragile Ego of Any Half Successful Comedian
Snake Apartment's membership soaks its clothes wet, stares at a particularly ugly wall, and decides to serenade it in the style of "Shut Down (Annihilation Time)" or some Flipper, or Drunks with Guns, or any other believably dead-headed punk fallout.
(Doug Mosurak)
Blown out and gunky, thick and corrosive... the whole thing a sort of moaning sea sick stumble.
(Aquarius Records)
